WE/I HAVE NEVER ATTACKED OTHER FORUMS, ALL OUR REPLIES WERE IN RESPONSE TO NASTY COMMENTS MADE BY YOUR UX MEMBERS - GET THAT FACT RIGHT UX

YOUR MEMBERS HAVE PUT PERSONAL REMARKS AND CALLED ME A BITCH ON YOUR FORUM - WHAT FOR? FOR DEFENDING MY FORUM AGAINST THE ACCUSATIONS AND NASTY COMMENTS FROM UX - WELL SO BE IT IM A BITCH FOR THAT - WHAT DOES IT MAKE YOU THEN?!

I like how it initial started as a vote thing. And then it goes to the judges to decide, and it is as though the votes didn't even matter as all. It didn't limit their votes to those three sites, just anyone they wished.

Also if you go through the posts, the Forummotion Admins kept telling Lisa and BabiesandAll to stop attacking other forums, or they would face disqualification. UX makes one comment, and boom we are in trouble? Obviously we are being judged differently based on our gender. I call sexism on the Judges/Admins.

Basically BandA begged for Sympathy votes the entire time. That would be like Obama going around and getting votes merely because his father died in a car accident in 1982 and he was deeply affected by it. What is to be expected from a bunch of people on a site that helps stop Survival of the Fittest, and is one of the reasons why the Human race will end up blowing itself up, because these parents can't handle something as simple as child rearing by themselves. IF you can't handle something that is built in our genetics, you don't deserve to have kids. Of course, from what I have seen, these parents are overprotective, which is linked to suicidal tendencies in children, so there is some saving grace. Fun facts to enlighten you all.

P.S. Just so you all know, the only reason UX got 5th place is because Tilium judged the site on the actions of one person(Cry Vengeance. He even told Cry this last week. So basically this vote was rigged.

Also just in case it seems that I dislike BandA because they won, that is not the case. I just dislike them because they constantly attacked other sites, yet when other sites returned the attacks, they were e-yelled at. Yum favoritism at its best.

This isn't fair, and they shouldn't be arguing any more. That is one of the reasons as to why UX lost. Their members are very offensive and are always trying to start a war. -_-

I am just so appalled that because we won we are having this kind of thing done - yes the admins may well have apologised on here for previous things but they are allowing their members to post on their own site what we all know is BS - apparently mods KEPT telling me to stop attacking other forums! WTF I was told off ONCE and that was because of the conversation which ended I asked Top Hat if I should ask his mum to join...which I may remind UX was because he called us bad parents.

So all these words they are throwing about to make us look bad are so pathetic and blatantly made up.

I am so annoyed and tbh quite upset that this is happening, we won and yet we are being made out to be awful cheating people - how are we supposed to feel good about winning?!

I just want to point a few things out.

First off, UX has NEVER endorsed any of this behavior, and I would like to add the comments you quoted were most uncalled for. However, please understand that our member base is still furious with the results. Please be aware that the actions demonstrated now are not how our community is; ALL of the negative remarks are solely a response to the outrage over the contest. We (UX) have repeatedly asked our members to refrain from posting negative comments, and if you need proof of this, i'm sure you can see multiple posts about it, since you like to look at our site a lot lisa.

The UX Staff Team are aware of the final results, and see that they won't change no matter what. We also see we would've placed better if it wasn't for a couple sour PM's. However, communicating this to an outraged community isn't going to happen overnight. We are NOT going to censor freedom of speech; however, we are reminding everyone to keep everything appropriate, and privately warning our members accordingly.

Lisa, I ask you to please disregard all of these comments. I understand they may be offensive, and I apologize for them. However, the UX team does not have control over freedom of will (we cant mind-control our members), so we cannot guarantee similar posts will not surface. Just please be aware that UX condemns this behavior, and we are dealing with it accordingly.

In regards to BandA, yes, this is definately sorted out; it has been for a long time now. All recent comments have not been from our staff team.

In regards to UX and the contest itself, I would like to believe it is sorted out, but I don't think I can speak for everyone on the staff team on this one. So, i'm going to for now say YES, it is sorted out, and see if anyone corrects me after this post.

A reminder Lisa, that we do not have a problem with BandA, as I mentioned in the PM I sent you.

@Base - As mentioned above, please be aware our members do not behave like this normally and this is not our average community atmosphere. Aside from a few bad apples, the vast majority of our community was very respectful throughout the competition. The negative remarks (those of which we do not endorse) are solely in response to the contest results (after the contest has ended).

So then you'll need to tell your members to act normally...

We have, multiple times, via personal PM's and public announcements on our site, addressing these negative posts.

As for particularly bad posts (as brought up recently), we are dealing with them on more of a private basis.

1. Why haven't the disgusting comments been removed from UX? Well, I hope your second point isn't addressed to me, as i'm sure you know we don't control the forumotion boards.

As for your first point, I would once again like to ask you to please ignore our member comments on this. I would also once again like to reference the PM sent to you; mainly the part on you being "caught in the cross-fire". If BandA didn't win, and let's say GeekPolice won, they would be on the spotlight. As for why the comments are still there; probably same reason the FM ones are still there. Once again, the Staff Team does not endorse this behavior, and are dealing with it accordingly.

Unfortunately your forum members used my forum address in their posts - now when its googled your site comes up..and therefore people looking for my forum find those lovely comments - I am sure you can see that this is hardly pleasant or fair - and pretty much impossible to ignore!
Why should my google search be ruined by this?

Yes I agree that is on there - however not one comment is personal, doesn't refer to your forum and this attitude was due to the comments made by UX in the first place!

I am peed off with personal insults & direct references to my forum, not a couple of tame words and smilies!

If thats the worst be did then really .... you don't have much to worry about from us bitching about you on our forum!

I have not removed a single comment regarding the contest - I have had no need to.

@Lisa - Upon searching, I not only couldn't find any links in any posts, but also when googling your site, I could find no hits on anything UX related. Could you explain what you actually mean by your previous post? Or provide an example?

Lisa: I personally apologize if you've found any personal offense from any remarks that any UX member has made.

Please, though, stop reading our forum if it's causing you such distress. Don't let the words of a few naysayers detract from your feeling of victory.

I agree maybe I shouldn't - although I was first alerted to it because of a google search rather than being nosy.

Its not as easy to ignore comments though when they are on the thread which was supposed to be about announcing the winners, where everyone including my friends and family have read! So yes I have been very upset by it being on there more so than what was on your own forum.

I don't feel the need to chat tbh, I don't mean that in a rude way - but as far as i am concerned this is done with.
